What you get

The scheme is administered and regulated by an autonomous and self-financing social security and labour welfare organisation.
Registration is governed by the Employees' State Insurance Act, 1948.
- Registration requirement: employers with 10 or more persons
- Employees covered: monthly wage up to INR 21,000
- Due date: contribution paid within 15 days of month end
- Benefits: medical, monetary, maternity, disability, and old age care for employees and families
After final submission, the registration certificate is issued by the department.
